Filzer

Great Value - more fun!

About Filzer

Filzer. It's more than a brand.

Filzer is a lifestyle. Filzer is a solution. Filzer is value.

That's a pretty big line to talk, but Filzer has been delivering the goods on its ever-growing range of products since 2002. What began as a philosophy (make useful, high-quality products at an affordable price), has evolved into an entire product line of inventive solutions for daily living.

Cycling computers, tools, pumps, lights, stainless steel water bottles, and more… wherever you go in the Filzer product line, you can count on two things: quality and value.

Whatever life you lead, value counts. Filzer keeps the cost factor down and the quality consistently high. How? By going directly to factories to cut out all the middle men and counting on your satisfaction and word of mouth.

We like to think about business a bit differently. When you buy Filzer, you aren't paying for the brand. You're enjoying it.

Filzer: it fills a gap in the market between big marketing budgets with over-hyped products and cheap, poorly made disposable knock-offs. With Filzer, the goods are great and the value is the bottom line. It's that simple.

When it comes to thinking GREEN we try hard. We try to minimize packaging and use recycled/recyclable material. We want our products to last a long time so they don't end up in landfills (and ensure that the packaging be easily recyclable and has minimal impact on our planet).

In order to minimize wasted packaging we have come up with an ingenious solution. For about 60 of our tools, we use a standardized plastic card with screen printed product information on cards. Because of this, we minimize the amount of wasted card stock at the factory level. For cardboard packaging, printing minimums are around 2000 pcs per packaging - and the packaging is tool specific - so for 60 tool x 2000 pcs we would have to print up 120,000 cards. Whereas, for plastic cards, minimums are 2000 pcs and can use the same card for 60 different tools. So if we need to update the info for a tool we simply update the screen printing and use the same card instead of being forced to recycle any unused cards. Also, by using plastic cards, it is much easier for our retailers to display our tools. And they can easily cut the zip tie on the tool for you to check them out more closely, then quickly zip tie the tool back to card afterwards.
